Tanya Varanelli partners with nonprofit leaders and teams to build and implement practical processes and support organizational change. This support maximizes resources by clearing space for the things that matter most - the long-term sustainability of nonprofits and their leaders. 

Tanya Varanelli is an independent consultant to nonprofit organizations and social impact firms. Tanya also provides retained executive search services through Armstrong McGuire. Previously, Tanya was the Director of Operations and Talent Recruitment at Next Stage, a Charlotte-based consulting firm serving local nonprofits. Tanya has also served in key roles with Koya Leadership Partners, The Broad Center, and Bain & Company.

Tanya is a Women’s Impact Fund member, the Board Secretary for GardHouse, and a cookie mom volunteer for the Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council. She also supports organizations and causes that promote economic empowerment, expand access to resources, and assist families in need. Tanya holds a B.A. from Boston College. She lives in Huntersville, NC with her husband, daughter, and dog named George the Turtle.
